File Upload Progress

When you have filled out the form, click the "Upload to Video Server" button. A status box will then appear showing the upload progress. It takes about an hour for the film to be optimized on our server before it is available to your team.

There is a minor issue for Mac PCs uploading film. We also have a technical article explaining the easiest way to copy and upload your DVD.

Step 8. Exchange Film (School Accounts Only): Coaches can easily exchange film with other coaches. Our exchange process is a straight-forward process that is a 1 for 1 exchange. What this means is that if you give one film to an opposing coach, that opposing coach must give one of his films to you as well.

The exchange does NOT happen until both coaches have submitted their films to be exchanged. So there is no worry of giving your film to a coach on Friday, and not getting his until next Wed. Neither coach receives the other coaches film until both coaches have submitted film.

Film Exchange

To exchange game film, click on the "Exchange Film" tab of the application. Select the film that you want to exchange. You can also provide any comments about the film or the exchange process. Then enter the name of the coach you want to exchange with and click "Find Person". When you see the person's name and team displayed, click "Exchange Film".

An email will automatically be sent to him notifying him that you would like to exchange film. If the opposing coach already has a team on WatchGameFilm.com, he can immediately exchange film with you. If he does not have an account on WatchGameFilm.com, then the exchange notification email will provide him with the proper steps on how to set up an account.

Step 9. Add and Edit Users: To add players and coaches to your team, click on the Team Settings tab. Provide the user's email address and name and determine their role (coach or player). Coaches can add other people to the system as well as view all film and modify film properties. Players can only view film that is marked as viewable for Players.

For School Accounts, coaches may also add Recruiters to their team. This allows Recruiters to log in and look at any footage of players that is marked as Recruiting film.

Finally, coaches are able to set the expiration date for a user. This is useful for changing teams over from year to year or for giving recruiters a smaller window to view film in.

Adding Users to Team

Once all user information is entered, click "Add User to Team". An automatic email and password will be sent to them along with instructions on how to access your team.

If you decide at a later time to change the rights of an existing user, you can click on the "Edit" link located next to their name in the "Team Settings" tab. A new window will appear allowing you to change their Role and/or set an Expiration date.
